I had the pleasure of going to Panama last year, and my trip began in none other than Panama City. It is a very interesting place where ultra-modern skyscrapers tower over the bay as well as shanty towns which seem to be built almost right on their sides. There is a pretty large colonial area as well known as the Casco Antiguo which offers amazing views of the downtown skyline, fish market, and the many fishing boats and large tankers waiting for their turn to traverse the Panama Canal. Hope you thought this Panoramic view of Panama City was as cool as I did!
