Stylish Additions to Make to Your Wedding

Your wedding day will be one of the happiest days of your life, all of your friends and family joining you and your partner in celebrating your life together and the promise that you will make to one another. Organizing a wedding can be a stressful affair and there is a great amount of areas to consider, the cake, the venue, the dress, the suits, the invitations and seating arrangements to name just a few. Everyone wants to add some style to their wedding too and you can do exactly that with just a few small additions that won’t take a great deal of planning and won’t cost the earth. Let’s take a look at a few touches which you can add to your wedding day to give it even more style.

Wedding_plan

Stylish Car Hire

When I married my husband we decided that we would hire a sleek and stylish car to bring us both to the wedding and after first considering a sports car, we instead opted for a limousine. We checked out what wedding limousines Perth had to offer us and eventually settled on a company for our limousine Royalty wedding limousines, a great company with some beautiful limos which delivered us in style to the church.

Sweetie Table

After the wedding is all done and everyone goes to eat some beautiful food and hear the speeches, what better way for them to enjoy the party than to gorge on candy. Sweetie tables are a really cool addition to your wedding and you can make them look like a vintage candy shop. These tables look great at the wedding and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love to eat candy, whatever the occasion!

Live Music

If you can hire a good wedding band for your after-party then you can really add a dash of style to your occasion. DJs are all well and good but to bring your wedding a little bit more character than music being played out of a sound system then you should look into getting a great wedding band.

Interesting Venue

You do not have to stick to the traditional church or hotel wedding for your big day, all you need is someone who is legally allowed to marry you and your partner and you can take the wedding wherever you like. Imagine getting married in a forest or on a boat or even a secluded island, whatever suits you and your partner is exactly how you should get married, not following tradition just for the sake of it.

Cool Food

There are no restrictions when choosing what food you will have for your wedding and you should make this a personal choice. I recently went to a wedding where the after-meal was a big barbecue, not exactly commonplace at a wedding but it worked really well. There is no reason why you should opt for food that you wouldn’t normally eat just for your wedding day, add a personal stamp to your food choices and your guests will love it.

Travel to the Internet for Great Trip Ideas

Recife in Brazil is one of many Great Trip Ideas the internet can clue you in on

Photo by CC user rds_sp on Flickr

If you have a trip somewhere other than the local camping resort and bed and breakfast planned soon, how will you get the bulk of your travel information?

For many travelers, a sizable portion of that information is coming via the Internet.

In the event you need to study up on where you may be ahead around the globe anytime soon, turning to the worldwide web certainly can’t hurt you. In fact, you may learn so much that it will take you a bit of time to digest everything.

So, are you headed over to the Internet for great trip ideas?

Research and Learn

In order to educate yourself as much as possible about where you may be headed start by looking to see which travel companies have websites.

Given today’s tech-driven world, it is almost business suicide not to have a decent presence on the worldwide web.

For example, if you know or think you know that ABC Travel arranges trips to Europe, South America, Africa, Asia etc. plan on visiting their website.

By doing so, you can study up on a Brazil trip, journey to the Far East, perhaps a visit to Australia, maybe a cruise to Italy or Greece and much more.

Such websites typically offer not only what kinds of travel packages they offer, but also loads of information about how to get there, pricing, any specials needs as far as medical assistance (shots etc.) before arriving there and much more.

More and more travel sites are allowing you to “chat” with a company rep before you ever do any pertinent searching of the website. This allows you to talk to someone about what you are interested in, saving you time. Instead of having to surf a travel website in vain, you can be directed right to the spot you want, be it a vacation rental in some country or perhaps the best touristy things to do.

Meantime, if Brazil and/or other parts of South America are on your mind, watching the recent 2016 Summer Olympics would have certainly educated you on the country and some of what it has to offer.

Along with showing or describing to you much of the sporting action, media outlets have been busy with packages on Rio and other parts of Brazil during the Olympics. This gives the upcoming traveler more information about what he or she is most interested in when it comes to visiting this country of more than 200 million people.

Whether it is some nightlife in Rio, attending the famed Brazilian Carnival for a week in February, or perhaps a trip down the Amazon, there is plenty to learn about along the way.

Get Social in Your Planning

Another advantage of turning to the Internet is using social media to help guide you with a big upcoming trip.

There are countless consumers on social networking sites talking about where they have been or where they are headed, so there is much to learn from them.

For example, there are groups on Facebook and other social sites that oftentimes sit around and talk simply about traveling.

The benefit for you is that you can either sit back to take in all the information, or you can even contribute (if you can gain membership to the respective club) to the conversation. Either way, it can be a great learning experience before you take off on your journey.

You can also view YouTube videos, videos which can prove quite informative in your choice of destinations.

The videos will typically not be all that long, so you could likely watch a number of them either on a lunch break from work or when you are off work.

Finally, think about starting your own travel blog over time.

Yes, you will have to set aside some time to write and post pictures, but the benefits can certainly add up.

The goal is of course to get other travel enthusiasts reading your blog, commenting on your blog, and of course helping to promote your blog via their social connections.

In the end, you make some more travel connections along the way, giving you more resources to tap when you have another upcoming trip planned around the globe.

The event takes place from April 7th to April 9th, with the Grand Opening on 7th, Ladies’ Day on 8th, and Grand National Day on 9th.

This includes various parts of Spain, which means that you can enjoy playing golf, take in some sea air, and enjoy lapping up the beautiful sunshine. One of the places that you can head to is the Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club, which offers sun, sea, spa facilities, and a range of amenities in a stunning setting. Breaks such as these provide you with the perfect way of combining your love of sports with the chance to relax and explore new places.

Where are the best places to find travel inspiration

Pinterest and similar sites are the best places to find travel inspiration, which will land you on a beach like this sooner rather than later ... photo by CC user kallerna on wikimedia commons

So you’re sitting at home after getting home from your latest trip. While spending time at home has been awesome, you feel like its time to pick up your backpack and head somewhere once again. But where should you go?

Its time to find some travel inspiration, and with the help of the following resources, its never been easier…

1) Pinterest

Pinterest is one of the best places to find travel inspiration, as this photo driven site has many pinners that put up irresistible pictures of some of the world’s hottest travel destinations.

From flawless beaches to mountains brimming with freshly fallen snow, spending a half hour flipping through the boards of some of Pinterest’s top travel posters will have you booking your trip to a paradise halfway across the world in no time.

2) Instagram

With smartphones fueling an explosion of visual content on the internet in the past five years, it’s only natural to conclude that Instagram is great for travel inspiration.

Once you get past the self-indulgent and slightly annoying selfies, you’ll find a wide collection of outstanding pics that range from perspective shots, to even underwater snaps, as some phones are starting to be constructed to be waterproof.

With many travel bloggers boasting an account these days, their expertly taken pictures and the narrative they weave will have you putting together a travel plan that you act upon in the coming months.

3) Twitter

While the 140 character limit places handcuffs on the ability of some people to express their ideas, for others, it forces them to write their updates in a way that grabs your attention.

Combine that with the fact that you can follow hundreds or even thousands of accounts at once, and your travel feed will soon fill with dozens of suggestions from travel bloggers from all over the world.

4) Your town/city

Sometimes, the best way to get inspired is to get up from your computer and go outside. Leave your phone at home, and just walk through the streets of your town or city. Go into a restaurant that serves foreign cuisine, and meditate on how much better the food must be in its country of origin.

Head out into the countryside and walk amidst the mountains or along the coast. Yes, these sights are amazing, but what would they look like in the tropics? In Asia? In the subarctic regions of Norway? There is one one way to find out the answer to these questions; book a trip, and see them for yourself!

Groupon is taking on the Yellow Pages with its brand new look

If you can remember Groupon, then you’ll be curious to learn the company has expanded upon its old business model. While it’s still hawking deal-a-day coupons for all manner of businesses and services, Groupon does so under a different banner – it’s now a kind of Yellow Pages business directory, listing thousands of businesses all over the world.

Better yet, Groupon’s big advantage is it’s still focused on saving you money through its deal-a-day coupons and vouchers. Which means that anyone who uses the site as an alternative to Yellow Pages or Yelp will find both the business they’re looking for and also some great coupons offering steep discounts too. Check out this Umi Japanese Restaurant Chicago listing for example.
